Objective of the Foundation
As stated in Article 2 of the official statutes:
Objective
- Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ
- Organizing worship services and gatherings
- Promoting Christian fellowship and pastoral care
- Supporting individuals in spiritual, social, and material need
- Using all legal means that advance these goals
- The foundation accomplishes this through gatherings, education, humanitarian aid, digital media, and national/international partnerships.
The foundation is grounded in the Bible as the infallible Word of God.

- Small groups and Bible studies
- Youth and children’s ministry
- Discipleship and training through Homecoming Academy
- Conferences, outreach, and humanitarian efforts
- Digital evangelism (podcasts, livestreams, etc.)

Public Benefit (ANBI Status)
Stichting Homecoming Ministries operates exclusively for the public good (ANBI). Its activities serve spiritual, social, and developmental needs, primarily in Tilburg and increasingly throughout the Netherlands and internationally.
Capital Management
The foundation does not pursue profit. Its resources are allocated solely to fulfill its mission. No individual or entity has control over its assets or may use them for private benefit.
Remuneration Policy
Board members serve voluntarily and do not receive compensation for governance duties. Reasonable expenses incurred during official activities may be reimbursed with board approval. Any future paid positions will be remunerated in line with sector norms and collective labor agreements (CAO Sociaal Werk).
Surplus on Dissolution
As outlined in Article 16 of the statutes:
In the event of dissolution, any remaining funds will be donated to an ANBI or comparable foreign public-benefit entity with a similar mission.
Financial Accountability
- The financial year matches the calendar year.
- Within six months of year-end, the treasurer prepares the annual financial statements.
- These include a balance sheet, income and expenditure overview, and activity report.
- All documents are reviewed, approved by the board, and made public.
- The foundation complies with the Wet Bestuur en Toezicht Rechtspersonen (WBTR), maintains a continuity reserve, and practices transparent and ethical financial governance.
